The Samsung MV800, released in 2011, features a 16.1MP CCD sensor paired with a 5x optical zoom Schneider-Kreuznach lens. It records 720p HD video and includes optical image stabilization to help reduce blur during handheld shooting. Its defining feature is the 3.0" Flip-out Display, which folds upward to face the front, making self-portraits and creative compositions much easier.

Users appreciate the MV800 for its innovative design and user-friendly touchscreen interface. Long before flip-screen cameras became mainstream, Samsung created a compact camera specifically designed for selfies and social photography. Combined with its sharp image quality, vibrant CCD colors, and unique articulating screen, the MV800 remains one of the most distinctive compact cameras from the early 2010s.
